Tigers coach Tommy Tuberville tried to clear up one issue ahead of Saturday's game against Alabama, saying he planned to stay put "as long as they want us here." Tuberville said Monday that he has no plans to leave for another job despite reports linking him to a potential job opening at Texas A&M; to replace embattled coach Dennis Franchione.

If anyone hasn’t noticed lately, Oklahoma is tied atop the Big XII South standings with rival Texas heading into a big rivalry week. This week’s match up against rival Oklahoma State is a must win for the Sooners. They may make it past the Cowboys without injured QB Sam Bradford, but if I were an OU fan, I’d be hoping and praying that Bradford heals really quick... Oklahoma needs Bradford...Nick Saban one ups Kellen Winslow Jr.
