Livan Hernandez won again, Craig Monroe contributed another big hit, and the Minnesota Twins beat the Boston Red Sox 7-3 on Monday night to win the four-game series. Manny Ramirez finally went deep, hitting career homer No. 498 in the first inning for the Red Sox. The two-run shot was his second home run in 20 games.

Discussed much less was Hansen’s ordeal with sleep apnea, which apparently caused him to snore, toss and turn, and look perpetually stoned. Domes have not been friendly to the Boston Red Sox at all this season and that trend continued tonight as the Minnesota Twins beat them 7-3 in front of just 18,862 fans at the Metrodome. The loss was the 10th for the Red Sox in a domed stadium this year.Twins win again
