Two Nittany Lions make Hall of Fame ballot

 
◊ Former Penn State running backs D.J. Dozier and Curt Warner are on this year's ballot as candidates for induction into the 2009 College Football Hall of Fame, according to a National Football Foundation press release today. Other names to note on this year's ballot: Trev Alberts (Nebraska), Brian Bosworth (Oklahoma), Tim Brown (Notre Dame), Eric Dickerson (SMU), Kirk Gibson (Michigan St), Major Harris (West Va), Desmond Howard (Michigan), Art Monk (Syracuse), Deion Sanders (Florida St), Will Shields (Nebraska), Chris Spielman (Ohio St), Lawrence Taylor (North Carolina), Pat Tillman (Arizona St), Gino Torretta (Miami); Coaches: Dick MacPherson (Syracuse), John Robinson (Southern Cal) Penn State player bios (via release): D.J.
