Ty Willingham Resigns
Plagued by mediocrity and the inability to recruit players at Notre Dame and Washington, Ty Willingham has finally announced his resignation after Washington's annihilation by the Irish. Willingham states that he is resigning, but will coach the remainder of the season.
In their last game, the Huskies managed just 55 yards of total offense before the Irish substituted their entire Defense against Washington. Before the final drive, the Huskies managed less than nine first downs and failed to cross midfield.
The question, now, is whether the media will berate the Husky athletic program as a racist organization as it berated the Irish when the fired Willingham and subsequently hired Charlie Weis. Weis has 11 wins 14 attempts against the PAC-10 as Irish head coach, while Willingham on has nine wins in 30 attempts.
