Tyler Kennedy to Miss Four to Six Weeks With Knee Injury

It was released today by Ray Shero that Tyler Kennedy will be out four to six weeks with a sprained knee. No other information was released concerning the nature of the sprain, or how Kennedy injured it during the game. Kennedy was injured on Wednesday against the New York Rangers. This leads to the question of who will replace Kennedy in the lineup. I like Janne Pesonen as his replacement. Pesonen, I think, fits into the Penguins line up very well.  I have always wanted to see him dressed with the Penguins this season, but with the way the team has been playing there was no need to bring him up, as well, he is still getting accustomed to the NHL, which for some players, that could take some time.  However, if the Penguins do decide to call up Pesonen for the next month or more, I think it will benefit him greatly and will help to bring him up to the NHL speed a lot quicker than what the AHL would do.
