Connecticut defensive tackle Jarrell Miller, one of the highest-rated recruits the Huskies' have ever landed, has left the school.
UConn announced Miller's decision Thursday.
The redshirt freshman out of Richmond, Va., was expected to compete for a starting job this season after being moved from linebacker in the offseason.
The school said Miller left the program for "personal reasons."
Miller originally signed with North Carolina in 2006, but withdrew and went to prep school instead.
