Umpires' call has Dodgers protesting

The Dodgers played Wednesday night's loss to the Cardinals under protest after a dispute over a substitution in the eighth inning, over whether pinch-hitter Mark Sweeney stepped into the batter's box before being removed for Jeff Kent.
