Christian Gomez emerged as an offensive threat in his four seasons with D.C. United, but now the All-Star midfielder is trying to become the Colorado Rapids' go-to guy. Gomez will face his former club for the first time on Sunday, when he looks to help the Rapids (2-3-0) snap out of their recent funk and extend their home dominance against United.
