Phillies Beat The Braves…Again
myteamrivals.typepad.com 9/24/2008 — I hate to sound like I am repeating myself, but still am happy to do so as the Phillies topped the Braves yet again tonight by a score of 6-2. They have only lost to the Braves twice this entire year in 15 meetings.

Phillies Loss Sets Them Up To Lose Ground in the NL East
myteamrivals.typepad.com 9/24/2008 — Cole Hamels got the start tonight and did not have a very Cole-like game. Although he only gave up 3 runs (1 of them unearned due to his own throwing error), he had a lot of base runners and threw a lot of pitches early.

Donovan McNabb Campaigns for Ryan Howard to be MVP
yardbarker.com 9/24/2008 — I can't believe that some people are dismissing Ryan Howard for the 2008 Most Valuable Player Award. I can't think of anyone more deserving. His job is to drive in runs and he has done a better job at that than anyone in baseball.

The Record No One Wants
mopupduty.com 9/24/2008 — With just a handful of games left in the 2008 season we have a race for an all-time record. Ok, it’s not a record anyone wants to hold but Mark Reynolds, Ryan Howard and Jack Cust are fighting it out for who can hold the all-time single season strikeout record.

You're probably wondering from the picture if Jack Cust hit a homer, or a double to deep center field, or, hell, if he even just got a base hit. But don't be alarmed, Jack Cust is probably striking out again. Jack Cust has broken a cherished record ...
