Vikings News: Troy Williamson to Jaguars for Draft Pick

Although the Viking's can't announce their trade until Friday, it's  known all over the football world. Wide receiver Troy Williamson will be traded to the Jacksonville Jaguars for a second-day draft pick. Williamson was plagued by dropped balls last year and the only thing that held other teams interest was his incredible speed. Williamson has a connection in Jacksonville as former Minnesota Vikings head coach, Mike Tice, is currently a Jacksonville assistant coach. Tice was the head coach of the Vikings when they used their first round pick in 2005 to draft Williamson. Williamson was drafted as the seventh overall pick in the 2005 draft and has been a huge disappointment so far in his career. Jaguar fans hope that their team can make use of his great speed, and hope that his hands get better.
