Visa application approved for Cruceta

The Tigers just came one step closer to adding a reliever, even if it's a reliever they've been counting on since last fall. After waiting about two months for Francisco Cruceta to arrive, the Tigers received news on Wednesday that United States Immigration has approved his application for a visa to work in the States.

Because of a conflict with Thursday night's Boston Bruins playoff game, NESN is switching the Red Sox-Tigers game to alternate channels. In Rhode Island, the alternate channels are: On Cox Cable -- Cox3 On Verizon FIOS -- Channel 93 On DirecTV -- Channel 660 On the Dish Network -- Channel 444 The Bruins-Canadiens game will be broadcast on NESN.
