He's part lefty lightning rod for the Yankee-Met rivalry and part living nightmare for Hank Steinbrenner. And when Johan Santana takes the mound at Yankee Stadium tonight decked out in a Mets uniform, a city will be watching, waiting to see if the Mets' offseason prize can stick it to the Yanks. [link]

... . We'd love it if Rasner goes out and matches (or even bests) Johan. It irks us a bit (and it has to irk Hank ) that the Mets saved Johan for the Yankees ... like they're rudely flaunting their new toy or something. Overall, we don't really love interleague play. For example, it's not really fair that the Yanks play the Mets six times while the Rays play the Marlins (though admittedly the Marlins are decent this season).
