Wagner comes up short in All-Star Game again

 
With a chance to steal some thunder from Mariano Rivera on his Bronx turf, Billy Wagner instead made it possible for him to get a much-anticipated cameo appearance in the final All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium. That's because Wagner continued his streak of futility in the Midsummer Classic by blowing the save in the eighth inning Tuesday night and opening the door to the longest game in All-Star history.
