Warriors-Grizzlies: Golden State Stone Cold In Memphis
The Golden State Warriors approximately went more than seven minutes in the final quarter of the contest against the Memphis Grizzlies without a field goal. The game ended with a 90-79 loss for the Warriors.
Just when one felt the youngest team in the NBA would reel off a comeback in the third-quarter, the team did not even look like winning since the halftime tip-off.
Stephen Jackson, Corey Maggette, and Al Harrington had one of their worst offensive and defensive productions since the birth of the 2008-2009 campaign. Jackson, for one, looked extremely stagnant. The team leader had five turnovers in the fourth quarter and seemed baffled.
Maggette, who is suffering from a left strained hamstring, headed into the locker room two minutes before the end of the first quarter and returned to start the second half. He looked like a rookie at certain stints of the third quarter, but was mainly hampered by his injury.
