Don Nelson used 12 players in tonight's game against the Sacramento Kings, as the Golden State Warriors lost their second game in a row with a 98-115 final result.
As expected, the Warriors entered the game without any true intensity, facing the fact that they can't produce a positive result in the Northern California rivalry. It didn't seem like a rivalry at all—except in the first quarter of the contest.
After the first 12 minutes, the game settled down and the Warriors defense was getting ripped apart. Brad Miller, Kevin Martin, Beno Udrih, John Salmons, and Mike Miller made constant cuts and splits to the hole that were "observed" by the Warriors' abysmal defense.
Not only did that occur, but the seven-foot Spencer Hawes out of Washington torched the Warriors with his three point shooting ability.
Kelenna Azubuike continued his horrendous shooting performance from beyond the arc. If he was only 6'10'', the Warriors would have had one hell of a finisher in the paint.
