Warriors-Spurs: Old Spurs Dominate Young Warriors
The struggles of the Golden State Warriors continued Saturday night in San Antonio as the oldest team in the league defeated the youngest team in the league 123-88. The Warriors were coming off of a loss to the Houston Rockets, and the Spurs made sure that the Warriors losing streak remained. Golden State has now lost nine games in a row. "It is getting old, man," Corey Maggette said. "But we just got to keep playing. Hopefully one of these days, it's going to really click, and we can really find what we need to find. It's tough right now but we've just got to stay together." Maggette struggled, making only one field goal on ten attempts giving him six points and seven rebounds. Stephen Jackson left the game in the second quarter to rest his sprained hand. The Dubs had a season low 11 assists to go with their 11 turnovers in the blowout.
