Warrriors Should Not Make a Trade, Stand Pat

 
I am here to send a message to Chris Mullin. Do not make a trade for Mike Miller, Jermaine O'Neal, or Chris Wilcox. I repeat: Do not make a trade. Here's why. First of all, a trade will not help the Warriors win an NBA title this year. Trading long-term potiential for a foolish short run in the playoff is not the way to go. They cannot beat Utah or San Antonio because of their respective big-men that the Warriors cannot defend. There is too much competition in the Western Conference to expect to win the championship any time soon. The Warriors should not create a small, two year window for a championship. Secondly, if the Warriors wait, the window of Phoenix, Dallas, and San Antonio, and Denver will close, and that will eliminate competition. Phoenix's window will close in two years after Steve Nash (34 years old) and Shaq (35) get too old. Dallas' will close after Jason Kidd (34) gets too old.
