Robert Warzycha (vahr-ZEE'-hah) is the new coach of the MLS champion Columbus Crew. Warzycha was an assistant with the Crew the past six seasons. The 45-year-old takes over for Sigi (ZIH'-gee) Schmid, who led Columbus to the championship last month. Schmid was recently hired as coach of the expansion Seattle Sounders FC.
