Washington Nationals ordered to pay fired Dominican instructor Jose Baez

Jose Baez, a former instructor of the Nationals' Dominican program who was fired in the wake of the Esmailyn Gonzalez scandal, was awarded $40,000 by a San Cristobal judge as a result of a wrongful termination lawsuit.
