Washington set on 2008 lineup

While Rangers manager Ron Washington originally wanted Milton Bradley to bat cleanup in 2008, the Opening Day roster will see Hank Blalock in the No. 4 spot, with Bradley batting fifth.

In his final outing of the spring Jason Jennings earned his first victory with the Rangers. Jennings pitched 5 1/3 innings against the Royals on Thursday allowing two runs. He’ll enter the season as the third starter behind Kevin Millwood and Vicente Padilla.
