Cornerback Corey Webster, whose tight back kept him out of practice most of the week, is in the Giants’ starting lineup against the Eagles this afternoon.
Despite some pretty cold weather and some ridiculous winds, Webster apparently felt good enough to go. And the Giants are comfortable enough that he’ll make it through the game that they have de-activated veteran corner Sam Madison.
Also of note, John Carney will get his shot at kicking through the swirling winds today. Lawrence Tynes is once again inactive.
The rest of the inactives are RB Danny Ware, T Adam Koets, DT Jeremy Clark, DT Leger Douzable, LB Jonathan Goff, and DE Jerome McDougle.
For the Eagles, RB Brian Westbrook is in the starting lineup, but his backup — Correll Buckhalter — is out. Also out for the Eagles are G Shawn Andrews (back) and WR Reggie Brown. Nick Cole will start for Andrews. DeSean Jackson will start for Brown.
