Week Five College Football Picks: Alabama-Georgia Edition

 
Coming off a 9-2 record last week, I’m ready to take a crack at 11 more games in Week Five. The games start with Thursday night Pac-10 action. USC at Oregon State Umm...USC wins again. Big shocker.  Winner: So Cal, 56-10 On to Saturday’s games. Minnesota at Ohio State Pryor gets his first turnover and Ohio State looks sluggish, but Minnesota just can’t capitalize.   Winner: Ohio State, 31-21   Maryland at Clemson Clemson’s defense has flat-out been awful so far, even surrendering 427 total yards to the Citadel.  Maryland’s offense, on the other hand, has been schizophrenic.  It’s hard to tell much about either team right now, so who knows what will happen in this game? When in doubt, go with the home team.  Winner: Clemson, 28-24 North Carolina at Miami The loss of T.J. Yates for North Carolina is huge, especially against a hard-hitting and fast defense like Miami's.  North ... (link)
