Week Six in College Football

 
Besides Vanderbilt beating Auburn 14-13, this weekend was not filled with upsets. Although the upset bug did not bite this week, there was a few scares, but there was also a few teams who proved to the nation that they deserve their keep in the top 25. Texas Tech proved to the nation that they deserve to stay in the top 10. Alabama won, but their sluggish play against Kentucky proved that this team is not a No. 2 team. Kansas State kept it close against Texas Tech for the first quarter, but after that, Texas Tech did not hold back as they beat Kansas State 58-28. Texas Tech still has to beat a respectable opponent and should not move up in the polls until they do, but I think they are worthy of #7 ranking. Wisconsin almost beat Ohio State, but the loss more than likely has cost them any chance of going to a BCS bowl game. Butch Davis and the Tar Heels have something to prove, and they made a statement today beating No. 24-ranked UCONN 38-12. Oklahoma State might be just as good as the ... (link)
