West Virginia-Colorado: Not an Upset

 
Fans poured over the guardrails and onto Folsom Field in Boulder last night, celebrating Colorado's upset victory over No. 21 West Virginia. Pat McAfee watched it all from the sideline after missing another game-changing kick.  Wanna bet McAfee's phone is off today?  Death threats are on their way courtesy of the same people who provided them following Pittsburgh's Backyard Brawl upset last season. McAfee's troubles with Mountaineer fans are more upsetting than the game last night, which actually wasn't an upset.  The matchup pitted ranked against unranked thanks only to faulty preseason polls. Based on last year's results, West Virginia was placed in the top 10 in the preseason polls.  Like many other teams, they quickly fell out. Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Fresno State, South Carolina, and Michigan have all fallen out of the polls in a matter of three weeks.  Teams such as Utah and East Carolina have emerged as contenders at a national level, looking to go undefeated ...
