West Virginia is out of the Terrelle Pryor sweepstakes and Michigan is in. That's some of the recruiting fallout from Rich Rodriguez's decision to leave West Virginia University to become the new coach at Michigan. West Virginia was one of the five finalists on the list for Pryor, highly touted quarterback at Jeannette High School. Other names seem less likely if only for financial reasons. There are unconfirmed stories that Alabama coach Nick Saban might be interested, but only a year ago he became the highest-paid coach in college football history ($4 million a year) when the Crimson Tide hired him after being rejected by Rodriguez.Next Stop: Outta The Big East

While Big East schools may rejoice because one of their rivals has been weakened, Rich Rodriguez’s decision to bolt West Virginia confirms that despite all the bowl wins and despite all the national exposure, the Big East still has a long way to go.
