The Atlanta Hawks have become one of the most surprising teams in the NBA during the start of the 2008-2009 season.
They started out with a 6-0 start. The Hawks began to look like they deserved to be one of the elite teams in the NBA. They had become what some would call “electrifying” as they began their triumph.
They began the season with a 99-85 win over the Orlando Magic.
Coach Woodson said “That was a huge win for our ball club. It was a total team effort from beginning to end.“
This had proving to be no more than a warning to all who dare try to play the Hawks. Surprisingly enough, the very next team they played, was the team that kicked Atlanta out of the playoffs in 2007.
This gave Atlanta even more reason to beat Boston. The game was very close, 103-102. With a one point loss, Atlanta would still not see the end of what began to look like a nightmare.
The Hawks then lost two more to New Jersey, Making them 6-3. Atlanta still looking strong though. Hope for ...
