What the Falcons Really Need in This Years Draft

 
People are saying the Falcons need Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan, but they already have depth and talent at that position in Chris Redman and D.J. Shockley.   What they should be looking for in the first round is a talented tight end or offensive tackle.   There are some that I've had my eye on. I   f they go the TE way, they could choose USC's Fred Davis who is nothing but a WR in a tight end's body. Another great TE they could get could be the huge 6-foot-7-inch Brad Cottam of Tennessee.   Even though he did not play much this season, if anyone saw the Senior Bowl, they would have recognized some true talent in this monster of a man.   If the falcons don't decide to go the TE route, there are a couple good tackles they could pick from. Jake Long of Michigan is the top tackle with size and power which can bolster the Falcons' offensive line immediately.   This big guy could be a great resource with his fast feet and quick punch off the ...
