White Sox beat Tigers 6-5 on Dye's ninth inning HR

 
Jermaine Dye hit a two-out, two-run homer in the ninth inning to lift the White Sox to a 6-5 win over the Detroit Tigers on Friday night. The White Sox rallied to win in the ninth for the first time in 39 games this season after Carlos Guillen put Detroit ahead with a tiebreaking homer in the seventh inning. [link]
