White Sox reduce roster by three

The White Sox reduced their roster to 36 players on Friday, reassigning pitchers Jack Egbert and Adam Russell to Triple-A Charlotte and catcher Cole Armstrong to Double-A Birmingham. Manager Ozzie Guillen wants them to focus in the Minors.
