Who's Who?: Detroit Lions Take on the Look of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

 
The new fad of the Rod Marinelli era has the Lions going after Tampa Bay Buccaneers players. Most notably, they've taken features of Tampa Bay's defense and plopped them into the defense in Detroit. Marinelli's player acquisition philosophy dictates that his team must obtain high-caliber players who represent the character of the game. Now, high-caliber plays are not going to be found in Detroit just yet, but the Detroit Tigers were the laughing stock of the MLB during the 1990s and early 2000s. Presently, they are a force to be reckoned with.  People now are wondering who plays each Sunday at Ford Field—the Lions or the Buccaneers? There are those who disagree with Marinelli and his ideas about recruiting players by going back to his old roots in Tampa where he won a Super Bowl. I have more trust in Marinelli than I do in Matt Millen. I see why Marinelli is seeking out players from Tampa, notably on the defensive side of the ball.
