Who Wants to Be a Football Star?  Here’s Your Chance! By Joe Martinez On Thanksgiving Day every year, morning tradition mandates that hundreds of thousands of men gather for their annual “Turkey Bowl.”  This collection usually consists of mediocre athletes now managing a Pep Boys who have trouble letting the game go, even after ten years.  Nearly all mention that they “never got the chance to make it in the NFL” filling the cold air with excuses about politics and coaches who did not like them. Well, now it is time to put up, or shut up. Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin is putting together a reality television show searching for the next undiscovered talent.  In American Idol fashion, the show is searching for six defensive backs and six wide receivers to compete with the Dallas Cowboys in training camp this year.  The show will air on the Spike network.  The Dallas Cowboys have confirmed they will leave one spot on their ...
