Who Wants To Name a Football Team?

 
What name will make the best fit for a future pro-football team: The Los Angeles Legion? Salt Lake Salt Lakers? San Francisco Storm? Monterrey Marauders? New York Yanks? Las Vegas Ramblers?   The United Football League has announced that fans will have an opportunity to name their six new franchises.   According to UFL Commissioner Michael Huyghue, former Vice President of Football Operations for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the NFL,  in the first 24 hours of the competition the league received 2,500 “Name Your Team” entries and 40,000 Web site views.   The UFL has iterated that all potential names will be considered giving fans a chance to resurrect defunct teams or animate a team a fictional team from a film.   The UFL candidate cities include Hartford, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Monterrey (Mexico), New York, Orlando, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco.
