Here’s a potential scenario you draftniks might want to kick around: What if both QB Matt Ryan and DE/OLB Vernon Gholston or RB Darren McFadden remain on the board when the Jets are picking at No. 6? Could happen.
Based on the latest rumblings, OT Jake Long, DE Chris Long and DT Glenn Dorsey are going to go in the top three (not necessarily in that order). I think the Raiders, picking fourth, will take the speedy McFadden, although they have been linked to Gholston. Let’s give them McFadden. At No. 5, the Chiefs could address their biggest need, offensive line, and pick OT Ryan Clady.
Which leaves Gholston and Ryan for the Jets. Hmm. What do you think? The pass rusher or the passer? Let’s discuss.
