Whom the Mountain West Wants to Lose: Week Nine

 
Here is another round of whom the MWC wants to root for (or against) this week in an effort to get a BCS bid, or just higher rankings. As of now, if Utah wins out it is in, but TCU could sneak in for a spot with a win over the Utes next Thursday. No. 15 Florida State (6-1) at Georgia Tech (6-2) Atlanta, GA 3:30 PM ET Florida State aims to stay atop the ACC Atlantic standings when the Seminoles visit Georgia Tech. Bobby Bowden will be looking to improve to 13-0 all-time against the Yellow Jackets. Georgia Tech’s most recent win over Florida State was a 30-0 victory in 1975 in Atlanta. This game is picked because the ACC, along with the Big East, may have its winner be below the 16th spot in the BCS standings, which could open up a spot for a second MWC team with a spot for TCU if the Horned Frogs are able to beat Utah, but not be in the top 12.
