Why Al Saunders Should Run The Oakland Raiders Offense

 
I'm not talking about Al Davis.  I'm talking about Al Saunders.  He has been mentioned as the latest person who will be interviewed by the Raiders.  I think he should be the next guy to run the Raiders' offense.  He won a Super Bowl with the Rams.  We all remember "the greatest show on turf."  He was the WR Coach during that time.  That experience would do wonders for Johnnie Lee Higgins, Chaz Schilens, and any WR the Raiders bring in via the draft.  His most recent success was with Kansas City.  The Chiefs had one of the most dominant running games under Saunders.  He was the offensive coordinator for the Chiefs from 2001 thru 2005, and had the highest ranked offense over a four year span (02-04).  He turned Priest Holmes into a touchdown scoring machine, as he set the previous touchdown record with 27.  The following season, Holmes went down, and Larry Johnson didn't skip a beat.
