Could someone please shed light on something for me? Why is Dennis Rodman not in the NBA Hall of Fame? I mean, he is one of the best who ever played the game. But yet "the Worm" is not given his fair shake.
Now, I am not defending him for some of the off-court incidents, like wearing a wedding dress, partying too much, going out with Madonna and Carmen Electra, or anything like that. I am defending what he did on the court.
People say he was a bad man, but the only in-game incident he ever caused were head-butting a ref, which the ref himself says was not as bad as it looked...and kicking a cameraman, but that was it.
And in fouls and technicals, he is 83rd in NBA history, behind many of those enshrined in Springfield. So, really, you can't blame what he did on the court for him being out of the Hall of Fame, not in the slightest bit.
