It came into the news the other day that Shaquille O'Neal didn't entirely reject the idea of playing for the Lakers when he becomes a free agent in 2010.
Although Shaq did later dismiss the notion, how great would that be? Just imagine it...or better yet, read what we may just hear Marv Albert say in two years time...
"Ladies and Gentlemen...welcome, to opening day of the 2010-2011 NBA Season.
As always, the first game of the season will feature last year's champions, the Los Angeles Lakers.
Our champion Lakers will be facing the up-and-coming Portland Trailblazers, featuring former Rookies of the Year Brandon Roy and Greg Oden.
But I think we can all agree on the main storyline here: the unthinkable has happened, hell has frozen, pigs are regularly disrupting airports, and Shaquille O'Neal is standing on the floor of the Staples Center, wearing the No. 34 jersey of the Los Angeles Lakers.
