After a disappointing 0-2 start, the Wizards geared up for their third game of the season, a road game at Milwaukee.
But in a crazy game that saw multiple lead changes and two huge comebacks, the Bucks took it in overtime, 112-104.
The loss was the third in a row to start the season for Washington.
Milwaukee burst out of the gate with an early run, at one point leading by 18. But just like Saturday at Detroit, the Wizards, sparked by their bench, battled back, to take a 45-39 lead at halftime.
Until about six minutes remained in the fourth quarter, the Wizards' lead varied from around 14 to six, but the Bucks responded with their own comeback, outscoring the Wizards by 12 in the final regulation stanza and taking a two-point lead with 35 seconds to go.
The Wizards fed the ball to Antawn Jamison, who laid it in to tie the game at 98. The score stayed that way for the twenty-one seconds that remained, and the game was sent to overtime.
