Washington Wizards forward Caron Butler missed Tuesday night's game against the Toronto Raptors with a strained left hip flexor.
Butler also was expected to miss Washington's next game, at Toronto on Wednesday.
He was hurt when he fell to the floor during an overtime loss against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.
Wizards coach Eddie Jordan said Andray Blatche would start in Butler's place Tuesday.
Butler is enjoying a career-best season, averaging highs of 21.9 points, 4.3 assists and 2.
