The Washington Wizards will have several key players back after All-Star break. Players including guard Deshawn Stevenson (back), center Andray Blatche (leg), center Etan Thomas (leg), and maybe guard Gilbert Arenas (knee) are set to return to the lineup.
The Wizards have been depleted on the basketball court, sometimes only dressing eight or nine guys due to injury. The Wizards were close to getting back Blatche Sunday against Indiana, but he felt that he needed to give his leg some more time.
"Yeah, I was probably a little too anxious to get back out there and test it," Blatche said. "It's been feeling better and I talked myself into playing, but when I was out there today, I could still feel it bothering me. I'm going to stick around over All-Star break and work it so I can be ready."
Stevenson returned for two games at the end of January, but was still not 100 percent and was forced to miss the Wizards' past four games. Stevenson is set to return after the break and hopes to add ...
