Wizards sign Argentina World Cup veteran Claudio Lopez (AP)

Forward Claudio Lopez, a veteran of the 1998 and 2002 World Cups with Argentina, signed to play with the Kansas City Wizards. The Wizards announced the agreement Saturday and said they will introduce Lopez at a news conference on Monday. The 33-year-old joined the team in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the Wizards are training until March 21.
