John Wooden's condition improved again Thursday, and it appears the former UCLA basketball coach will be released from the hospital soon.
"Dad looks better than he did yesterday," daughter Nan Muehlhausen said in a statement. "He is in good spirits. He has been up walking and he had a shave this morning. We are optimistic that he will leave the hospital in the next few days."
The 97-year-old coaching great fell at his home Feb. 28, breaking his left wrist and collarbone.
