Woodgate moves from Middlesbrough to Tottenham

 
Jonathan Woodgate has transferred to Tottenham from Middlesbrough. The England center back, whose career has been plagued by long-term injuries, moved to White Hart Lane on Monday after having previously been with Leeds, Newcastle and Real Madrid. Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan tried to take the defender back to St. James' Park and there were even rumors Monday that Woodgate was on his way to Arsenal. [link]
