Yankees announce 2009 spring slate

The Yankees will begin their Grapefruit League slate on Feb. 25 against the Blue Jays, opening the 2009 Spring Training schedule with the earliest start in at least 60 years. With the first home contest on Feb. 26 against the Rays at George M. Steinbrenner Field, New York kicks off 16 total home exhibitions at the Tampa, Fla., stadium complex.
