Yankees don't offer arbitration to Abreu

 
The Yankees remain hopeful that they'll be spending big dollars on CC Sabathia and other pitchers this offseason. But even baseball's richest team is feeling the effects of this bad economy, and that reality displayed itself yesterday in the decision not to offer arbitration to Bobby Abreu. (link)
