Forget brawls and suspensions. Forget whether Alex Rodriguez should have run over a catcher Saturday, of whether he said anything interesting in Men’s Vogue. Forget the many decisions the New York Yankees have to make regarding their roster. The Yankees did a great thing Tuesday, traveling to Virginia Tech to play an exhibition game in honor of the 32 victims of last year’s shooting.
