Yankees stuck in mud; Damon injured

Johnny Damon - the sparkplug who propels the Yankees and
who criticized them for their lack of intensity after Thursday's shutout loss - leaped in an attempt to make a dramatic catch at the leftfield wall. He came down hard as cheers rang out from a crowd celebrating what seemed to be a tremendous grab.
