You're an Idiot and Here's Why: Monta Ellis

I decided to try something new with my articles—possibly a weekly occurrence. What I concocted in my brain was a weekly column that pays respect to the idiots in sports or at the very least, something idiotic thing a sports figure does. This week I have decided to make Monta Ellis the first ever Fred "The F-Bomb" Richani presented Idiot of the Week . Why is Monta Ellis an idiot, you ask? Well, Mr. Ellis recently signed a $66 million contract extension with the Golden State Warriors to be their two-guard and leader to a brighter future. Then, Monta Ellis decided to ride a moped and wound up seriously injuring his ankle in an accident involving one. What is the result? Ellis is now out until mid-December, but will do so while losing around $3 million n the process. That is because the Warriors have suspended him for 30 games, due to Ellis apparently violating the terms of his new deal.
