Tony Stewart will drive the No. 14 Chevrolet
in his debut next season with his own Sprint
Cup Series team, Stewart-Haas Racing, and will share sponsorship from Office Depot and Old Spice, the Observer has learned.
Stewart Haas Racing debuts in 2009, and all
we know is that Tony Stewart is going to
drive one of the cars.

Of course you've all heard by now that
Tony Stewart may be looking into buying into the
troubled Haas CNC team. Well sponsorship for those teams may be lining up already...
A final decision on where Tony Stewart could
be at in 2009 appears as though it could
be quickly approaching. Haas CNC Racing has been the "usual suspect" throughout all of the NASCAR Silly Season talk, but the newly opened seat over at Hendrick Motorsports could be the new frontrunner on pulling Stewart away from Joe Gibbs Racing.
Boy, Tony Stewart must love the attention he
is getting these days with no wins this season
(more on that to come later) and lot options when it comes to picking up a ride next year. And now with Casey Mears being released from Hendrick Motorsports at the end of the year,
Tony Stewart reached a deal that would make
Office Depot a primary sponsor on his car if
he finalizes a deal with Haas CNC Racing, a source close to the talks said on Thursday.

Just as everyone anticipated, Tony Stewart announced on
Thursday his decision to depart from his longtime home
at Joe Gibbs Racing to move over to Haas CNC Racing as a full-time driver and 50% owner. Additionally, the team will be renamed Haas CNC Racing in 2009.
