McLaren Mercedes has formally lodged an appeal against
the decision not to punish 3 drivers in Sunday's
Brazilian GP because of fuel irregularities. Should the 3 drivers have their results in Sunday's race at Sao Paolo nullified then McLaren's Lewis Hamilton would win enough points to be crowned world champion instead of Scuderia's Kimi Raikkonen.

Kimi Raikkonen’s championship win, the fall out between Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso at McLaren, and loads more, this is what F1 bloggers made ...
On paper, 2008 should be all about Ferrari.
Double champions last year, they ended the season on
an upswing in form that saw them dominate the Brazilian Grand Prix. They appear to have carried that momentum through into the off-season where Kimi Raikkonen has usually been the man to beat. As far as technical director Aldo Costa is concerned only one thing can beat them, and it’s ...
Defending Formula 1 World Champion Kimi Raikkonen is
still deciding on how much longer he will be
in the sport. As of now, Kimi’s contract with Ferrari goes to 2009 and Kimi has yet to rule out retirement from the sport at that point.

Marcus Gronholm will be retiring at the end
of the WRC season. Obviously, he wants to leave
the sport in a blaze of glory by wining the championship. And he is drawing inspiration from compatriot Kimi Raikkonen.
A Formula One newbie may be just as
adorable as World Champs Michael Schumacher, Fernando Alonso, and
Kimi Raikkonen. And who’s the most controversial among F1 newbies? I think it’s Nelsinho.
We share two excellent comments on the new
stewarding rules, and discuss what we’ve seen in magazines
recently (including some recognisable faces in Autosport a couple of weeks ago)! Also the Kimi Raikkonen official podcast, if you can call it that, and how Honda and Renault are making the most of the internet before the season even starts.
So, you’ve stocked up on food and booze,
set the alarm clock (or planned to stay up
through the night) and you’re all set for a hopefully thrilling season opener in Melbourne. Who are the runners, riders and also-rans for the coming season, and who will you be backing for the drivers’ and constructors’ championships? Here’s our take on the proceedings at Brits on Pole.
Ferrari are becoming increasingly aware of the potential
threat from BMW, who have scored two second places
in the first two races of the season. Ferrari boss, Stefano Domenicali says that the team are already open to being challenged by BMW (as well as McLaren) throughout the title battle: “The championship will be harder because they will be taking points from us. As we said at the ...
Robert Kubica (BMW Sauber) claimed the first pole
position of his career in Bahrain today, after pipping
Felipe Massa (Ferrari) in the final few minutes of the qualifying session. This is the first time that Ferrari or McLaren have failed to win pole position since the 2006 Chinese GP. It also BMW Sauber’s first pole position. Massa had clocked the fastest laps in Q1 and Q2 by a ...
The Spanish Grand Prix was hardly a riot
of excitement but it did leave us with a
couple of major talking points. I want to have a look at two of them in detail: how significant is Renault’s apparent return to form, and how far ahead of the chasing pack are Ferrari? The Renault revival P2 on merit or on fumes? It was clear from the times in practice that the Renault team ...

The F1 circus heads off to the former
World War II airfield and now racing circuit and
perhaps the world's busiest helipad this weekend at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix.
One of the most greatest things you can
do in your Formula 1 career is have a
victory in your home country. It only took Lewis Hamilton two years to accomplish that feat as he took victory Sunday in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in a difficult wet race winning by over a minute ahead of second-place finisher Nick Heidfeld.
Kimi Raikkonen is very busy man people and
he doesn't have time to sign your precious autographs
or time console crying children hes just here to race, folks. Sure that may be cold, but then again hes called the iceman for a reason.
